Hatha and Restorative

Morning will be a powerful practice based on Hatha Yoga, that will help you tune deeply into your own
body and find precious tools to strengthen, stretch, release and take care. Prepare to fall in love with your
toes, find immense power in your breath and marvel at the force of your whole being.

Evenings will bring a huge sigh of relief in a yummy Restorative Yoga. That style of yoga is all about re-
learning and practising the art of relaxation. Postures are supported by props to allow a gentle stretching

of the muscles, and are held for much longer periods than in a regular Hatha session. Passive and
effortless stretching is emphasized in order to help you restore vitality that may have been lost to injury,
illness or stress. Our teachers give individual guidance and adjustments according to your needs and
current health state. The quiet nature of the practice helps you to bring your attention inwards and
discover more subtle layers of your body.
Expect to enjoy calming, restoring classes for the body, mind and spirit.

Your Rustic Retreats journey

Beyond the concepts of nature and culture, we all belong to Life. And life is movement, constant
interaction with the environment, interdependence.
During this retreat we are going to experience a journey through both our inner and outer world – but do
we really know where the first stops and the seconds begins ?
The water molecules within us are the same ones that were present in the Dinosaures organisms, and in
the first manifestations of life, coming from remote times and spaces in the universe. Let’s breath together
along the paths of mountains which were once covered by deep oceans. We’ll embrace the miracle of
being alive on this beautiful planet, inhaling light and joy, exhaling everything that we are carrying
unnecessarily, making space for new breaths, new enthusiasms, new discoveries to come.

power. We are going to embody that perfection of nature in different ways, bringing awareness to the

subtle transformations it creates in our physical, mental and emotional states of being.

ConSelf massage techniques : Do-In

The easiest way to describe Do-In is as "exercises for health". Shizuto Masunaga, author of Meridian
Exercises, explains "Do of Do-In means to open up channels and facilitate the movement of energy along
specific routes. In of Do-In means to move and stretch one's limbs to achieve this purpose."
The basis of the Do-In exercises are to encourage mind and body integration. It has the effect of allowing
the energy to flow freely throughout the body, undoing nodes or tensions, bringing the prâna to flow
easily throughout the whole system, getting the body and mind ready for physical activity and clear

Connect with Others


Connect with each other using partner yoga. We will explore some simple asana assists to help each other to get the most from yoga asana and enjoy some fun partner yoga to build trust, communication and friendships. Partner yoga keeps you in check and allows you to mindfully work through the postures with someone else. No one is “better” than anyone else, for both your strengths and weaknesses should allow you to complete the poses. This is also a mental exercise for teamwork versus focusing purely on yourself.

Mindfulness of the inner and outer worlds.

in life is in constant change. The practice of mindfulness is very simple. Yet it can change your life !
Mindfulness exercises are now well known for substantially reducing stress and anxiety, improving the
quality of sleep, enhancing our capacity of feeling joy and enthusiasm, calming chronic pain, and
improving our ability to welcome things as they are without being overwhelmed by storms of emotions.
