We provide delicious, vegetarian food at our yoga retreats, cooked up by our world class chef in our airy outdoor kitchen, which we then eat al fresco whenever possible!
Seasonal, local produce
The food at our yoga retreats comprise of only the freshest, seasonal local produce. As you will discover, the fruit and vegetables in this region are second to none. We grow plenty of ingredients in our organic vegetable patch and on our many fruit trees. Some of the fruit we have growing freely on site include lemons, oranges, almonds, pomegranates, and carob - to name a few!
Otherwise we go to the nearby town to buy from the local markets and farmers, many of whom we are on a first name basis with! We also organise trips to the local markets with guests on our yoga retreats, so you can see first hand where your food comes from if you choose.
Healthy vegetarian/vegan food
We run a vegetarian kitchen, and we can cater for special dietary needs - please let us know when you book. All meals are included in the price, and alcohol is available at a small extra charge. There’s also an all-day snack bar (not included in the price)
Our guests love our simple, healthy meals - so much so that we’re now looking into a recipe book for next season, so watch this space!
First thing - Start the day with a fruit smoothie or refreshing mint tea
Breakfast - Baby spinach omelette, cereals, fruit and french toast
Lunch - Bell pepper frittata, bean and yogurt salad and pumpkin bread
Evening meal - Squash and courgette casserole, with wild rice and lemon tart
