Power and Kundalini Yoga Retreat
Did you know that Kundalini Yoga has been used to combat stress, emotional fatigue, anxiety and excessive weight? Kundalini Yoga provides a great physical workout! People of all ages can follow Kundalini to stay energetic and happy. It is used in rehabs for healing addictions thanks to its powerful Kriyas (sets of exercises and meditations), a helpful community of like-mided people and its potential to expand one’s consciousness. After just one hour of practice you feel happy and in harmony with the surrounding world.
For these retreats I’ve blended Kundalini Yoga with some techniques that have been my friends on my journey towards healing, a healthier lifestyle and state of higher awareness. I invite you to open up your body and energize yourself during Power Yoga morning sessions and Active Meditation and a Kundalini class in the evening.
Power Yoga is a daughter of Ashtanga Yoga: it´s active and quite challenging, focusing on helping the body, increasing strength and especially focusing on the core'.
OSHO, an Indian spiritual guru believed that Western humans can’t enter meditation easily because of their busy minds He brought us active meditations which all have a purpose of rapid transformation, an energetic cleanse and serves to bring us into a state of meditation and higher consciousness. Once you switch off your head and live the process, you’ll love these meditations forever, these are truly powerful. If you are new to Active Meditation, check one of the links you’ll see below.
A Kundalini yoga class is the perfect way to end the day with beautiful music, a certain posture and singing beautiful mantras. The mantras are easy to follow and you will definitely be carried away by the energy of the group, the beautiful sound and an inner focus. Kundalini Yoga practice has a really wide range of mantras. You might have heard of such Singers as Simrit Kaur, Snatam Kaur, Mirabai Ceiba – I have collected a variety of beautiful music for you that serves to meditate, to enjoy our connection in the choir of voices and expand our consciousness.
Some wonderful workshops will introduce new tools and activities to try, to inspire you, to re-connect with your creative self and communication. In daily workshops we’ll talk about some wonderful ayurvedic health tips that I’ve used for quite a few years now and some information about Conscious Communication and Radical Forgiveness (don’t get scared off by the word «radical»!) There will also be some amazing creative and practical exercises – expect some drawing and dancing to come up! Also we will practice ways to expand our intuition, connecting with our Hearts and overcoming obstacles by practising Kundalini Yoga meditations.
I’d like to invite you to try all that out, to live and feel what resonates with you so that you can take it home, too.
Sat Nam! Namasté!
