Price per person
The Hatha & Vinyasa yoga retreat for May/June 2022 costs from €579 per person, including all meals, yoga, workshops & equipment. Not including flights or transfers. Reserve your place today with just €140 deposit. This retreat is designed for beginners to advanced levels.
Style of Yoga to be taught
Morning will be a powerful practice, based on Hatha Yoga. Energizing breath, mantra chanting, and fun cleansing techniques finding your own expression in various postures. This practice will stimulate the chakra of the day and help you tune deeply into your own body and find precious tools to strengthen, stretch, release and take care. Prepare to fall in love with your toes, find immense power in your breath and marvel at the force of your whole being.
Evenings will bring a huge sigh of relief in a yummy practice inspired by gentle Hatha Flow, Yin or Restorative Yoga. A block here, a blanket there, you’ll get cosy and relaxed. You'll enjoy the freedom of soft movement, other times you’ll see what happens when you let go and spend ages in one position. You might even completely doze off in deep realms of yogic sleep (Yoga Nidra) and wake up like a whole new you. We’ll get together for a Bhajan and fill the whole Bagend with beautiful mantras, music, dance, love and joy. This type of practice follows the devotional path of Bhakti Yoga, opens up your chakras and gets some serious sunshine into your soul.
Your Rustic Retreats journey
Each day will be dedicated to one or two chakras, balancing them through a set of Hatha Yoga practices. In the morning, you‘ll get the juices flowing and wake the chakra of the day with a related meditation, Pranayama (breathing), Kriya (cleansing) and Asana practice. Evenings will seal the deal as you meditate on the specific chakra, you‘ll relax, soften and release any tension associated to it. Flowing through the whole chakra system during the week is where the last bits of tightness dissolve, where you breathe deeply and feel completely free.
We’ll add an extra touch to balancing the chakra system by focusing a bit more on Vissudhi, our throat chakra, the centre of communication, self-expression and integrity. How many of us suffer from some sort of tension in the neck or the trapezius muscle? How often do we actually follow our heart, instead of trying to please someone else? That’s why this week, we’re going to learn how to speak Vissudhi. Fluently.
As our main focus will stay on the throat chakra get ready for some mantra magic. Your Vissudhi will rise and shine thanks to our morning chants, it will thrive and find its balance in daily workshops, and then blissfully join its wonderful energy with others, as one, during our evening Bhajans. So, don’t forget to pack your ukulele, drums, wooden sticks, kalimba, tambourine or any other sound-making thingie, and come find your voice with us!

Your workshop programme
Muladhara and Swadhistana
The first workshop will focus on the first two chakras which root us in our body, our basic instincts and emotions. Tune in: Do you find stability and support easily in your life? How do you feel in your own skin? How do you appreciate your body? How do you deal with strong emotions? How do you respond to change? Do you allow yourself pleasure?
There will be a lot of pleasant grounding and self-acceptance on day 1. Strolling through the beautiful nature surrounding Bagend, looking for abundance all around and within, and then allowing this abundant energy flow through our hands and feet, as we get in touch with Pacha Mamma – our mother Earth. Let‘s wiggle the toes in the sand, play, create, cherish the body, move freely and feel absolutely supported
Manipura
Are you shy or self-confident? Do you often feel full of energy or mostly tired? How active are you? Is your digestive fire working properly? Hello, Manipura, the hidden gem behind our navel. Here, on day 2, you’ll get to love your belly unconditionally – yay!
Manipura is our solar plexus chakra, the centre of our strength and confidence. We’ll tap into this strength through a series of Hatha Yoga practices, which you will learn and take home with you, so that you can always access your inner power.
Anahata and Vissudhi
On Day 3, we hit the jackpot and unfold the voice.
Do you follow your heart or your mind? Do you accept yourself fully? Do you find it easy to forgive? What is your truth? Do you live, think and act in alignment with your truth? Is anything keeping you from expressing it freely?
As we tune into Anahata, your heart chakra, we’ll find abundance of love, acceptance and compassion. Vissudhi, the throat centre of communication and self-expression, will unfold your truth, your inner voice. This is the day when you listen and connect to that more deeply. We’ll write some stuff down, let go of burdens, and start noticing the clear signs of the voice carefully. Your voice has a very specific way of talking to you through your heart.
Ajna and Sahasrara
Do you feel connected? Do you trust the universe? Do you live in the present moment or constantly worry about the past or future? Who are you, truly?
With the higher chakras, we let go of the body, let go of the thoughts and dive deeper. We’ll float on the waves of Nada Yoga – yoga of sound and vibration. Om chanting and the deep relaxation of Yoga Nidra with tibetan singins bowls that will bathe you in heavenly vibrations and carry you to the deeper layers of your mind. Feel free to explor
All chakras and your voice
We’ll close the week with a discussion on how to use the whole chakra system not only to find your voice but to nurture it continuously, so that it grows stronger and aligns you with your heart-felt purpose and desires easily. This is how you invite unlimited abundance into your life.
We’ll celebrate this abundant energy and all our voices in a fire ceremony with Bhajan, singing mantras together, burning
away all doubts and obstacles, and transforming the last bits of old stagnant energy into a new powerful flow.
